PRIVACY POLICY
Prices displayed on The Curated Store website are all in AUD. We attempt to ensure that information on this Web Site is as accurate and current as possible. We reserve the right to change prices, product availability and descriptions at any time. At times the information displayed may occasionally be inaccurate, or out of date. We also reserve the right to alter the terms of any special offers or sales periods and sale stock at any time. The responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees, which may be imposed, will rest with the customer. Please contact your local customs offices if you would like to seek more information regarding taxes and duties.
SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only if it is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
ELLIGIBLITY TO PURCHASE
Purchasing products on the Website is only available to individuals who meet our terms of eligibility. All purchasers must be over 18 years of age. All purchasers must have been issued with either a valid credit card by a bank acceptable to PayPal or a valid PayPal account. The individual’s application to open an account must be acceptable to . All purchasers must agree to authorise PayPal (on behalf of The Curated Store) to process the charge or charges on his/her credit card or PayPal account in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase. By making an offer to purchase a merchandise, you expressly authorise PayPal (on behalf of The Curated Store) to perform credit checks to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions. Furthermore, you agree that PayPal (on behalf of The Curated Store) may use personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti-fraud checks. Personal Information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.
ORDER APPROVAL
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Please note that items in your shopping cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers. After you place your order, you will be sent an e-mail to confirm that your credit card or PayPal account has been charged. Your card/PayPal account is debited at the same time you submitted your order on our Website. If your order has not been approved, you will be notified immediately via our Website or by PayPal. In the rare instance that your order is approved but any of the items you have ordered are not available, we will contact you immediately by e-mail to arrange for a full refund or a product exchange, if preferred. Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and The Curated Store will be completed when we e-mail you to confirm the goods have been dispatched. The Website and communication is always conducted in English; therefore, the final sale contract will also be in English. We reserve the right to not accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria.
CANCELLATION BY US
At the Curated Store, we will do our best to ensure your order is fulfilled. However, we reserve the right to cancel the order if we do not have sufficient stock. In the event of cancellation, we will contact you by e-mail within 24 hours of receiving your order. If we cannot fulfill the order, we will re-credit your account immediately. The Curated Store will re-credit your account for the value of the goods and shipping only. The Curated Store does not reimburse any bank charges you may have incurred in the transaction. Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately, we are unable to influence this.
CANCELLATION BY YOU
The Curated Store aims to ship any orders received that same day (excluding weekends and public holidays). However, please allow up to 48 hours for processing time. If you contact us and the order has already shipped, we cannot cancel the order. However, if the order has not been shipped, The Curated Store will happily cancel the order and refund you.
INSURANCE AND DELIVERY
The Curated Store insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by The Curated Store and transfer of responsibility in the same way. The Curated Store cannot be held responsible for courier delays and circumstances out of our control. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. The Curated Store is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.
CUSTOMS TAXES AND DUTIES
All our products are shipped as DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid). The Curated Store is not responsible for any possible duties and taxes which may be applied by customs in the country where delivery is made. The responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees, which may be imposed, will rest with the customer. Please contact your local customs offices if you would like to seek more information regarding taxes and duties.
PROMOTION CODES
Promotion codes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Any refunds provided in relation to goods purchased using promotional codes will be equivalent to the discounted purchase price and not the normal retail price. Furthermore, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion code or offers, and must be redeemed by the date published, if provided. Only one promotional code per customer can be used.
